Deciding which school is best for your child can be a daunting task. Where young students attend school can help prepare them for higher education in college, get them ready to enter the workforce or simply assist in planning their future. Of course, some school districts are better equipped for this, whether through receiving more funding, having stronger community support or not experiencing overcrowding and teacher shortages.
According to a list compiled by Niche, four school districts in Ohio were named among the "top school districts in America." Coming in at No. 60 overall, Mariemont City Schools, serving areas of Cincinnati, earned an overall A+ rating with A+ in nearly all categories. The top rated public school has 1,539 students in pre-K and K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1. Additionally, "90% of students are at least proficient in math and 91% in reading."
Three other Ohio districts ranked in the Top 100: Mason City School District (No. 68), Solon City School District (No. 75) and Sycamore Community School District (No. 92).
