According to WKYC, the LeBron James Family Foundation is opening the world's first LeBron James Museum inside House Three Thirty on November 25.
The museum will offer an immersive journey of James' life through original artifacts from his childhood to his iconic NBA career. A recreation of James' Spring Hill Apartment #602 will be curated by his mother, Gloria James. An original TV from the apartment will be featured in the museum along with James' all-white 2003 NBA Draft suit, the infamous 3-1 drum set, and his McDonald’s All-American jersey.
Tickets for the museum will cost $23. The funds will go toward House Three Thirty's job training model, which employs I Promise School students, parents, educators, and family members.
“My dream was always to put Akron on the map, so to have a place in my hometown that allows me to share my journey with my fans from all over the world means a lot to me,” James said in a statement. “I’ve been known to hang on to a lot of things over the years, and I always knew there would be a time and place to bring them out. I’m so proud that place is House Three Thirty, a space my Foundation created to serve my I Promise families and the entire community.”
